Biography of CLAIBORNE PARRISH
         Surnames: PARRISH

 Claiborne Parrish was born in Davidson Co., TN or Virginia in 1796. By 1830 he was in Sumner Co., TN where he married
 Sally Saunders, daughter of Reuben Saunders. His first 4 children (James Henry, Frances Ann, Dorothy Elizabeth and 
Martha Virginia) were born in TN but his 5th child, Isham Woodson Parrish, was born in Olmstead (Logan Co. KY). 
Claiborne died in 1842 and is buried in Doyle Cemetery. We was only 46 years old and his death may have been accidental.
 His poor wife remarried a Robert Saunders and had three more children. Claiborne's oldest son, James Henry, (our ancestor)
 lived the rest of his life farming in Logan County and his descendants live there yet.
